The accommodation in the Retreat House comprises:

All rooms are self-contained. Bedlinen and towels are provided. All beds have mosquito nets.

Mountain View Campsite

The campsite is an ideal place to stay overnight for travellers coming from Dar es Salaam, Iringa or Dodoma. It is an easy journey of about an hour to Mikumi National Park and 5 hours’ drive from Dar es Salaam.

The campsite boasts incredible views of the Uluguru Mountains in a simple, rural setting. There are level, purpose-built level pitches that can accommodate overland vehicles and a separate camping areas for those who are using their own tents. We offer:

Shady camping pitches (all with electrical sockets)
Flushing toilets (European and Asian)
Hot showers
Firepit
Dining banda
Night-time security

If you are self-sufficient you will find that our campsite suits you perfectly for that overnight stay en-route between national parks or the main tourist centres. Basic supplies are available for purchase from nearby Sanga Sanga village.

Price: TZS 10,000 per person per night (TZS 5,000 for children under 12yo).
